Egypt's Plan to Expand Local Auto Components Manufacturing: From Brakes to Batteries

The plan covers essential products including brakes, filters, batteries, and tires, according to Hisham El-Zeiny, editor-in-chief of Ahram Auto Portal, speaking on the "Kol El Ab'ad" program on Extra News.

El-Zeiny points out that conventional batteries used in internal combustion engine cars remain in demand, but batteries tied to electric vehicles represent a promising manufacturing opportunity.
