Chevrolet Regains Top Spot in Egypt Vehicle Registrations in June 2026 with 3,259 Units
Mansour Automotive Group, the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet in Egypt, has announced that Chevrolet regained the top position among automotive brands in total registered vehicles in the Egyptian market for June 2026. According to data from the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Pool, Chevrolet recorded 3,259 registered vehicles during the month, marking a strong return to the lead in a highly competitive market.
Strong Performance Driven by Commercial and Passenger Segments
This achievement came after Chevrolet topped the list of the most registered brands in June, supported by strong performance in the commercial vehicle segment and continued growth in the passenger car market, particularly with the Chevrolet Optra model. The Optra recorded 740 registered cars during the month, making it one of the top-performing passenger cars during the period and the second most registered locally assembled car in June.
Segment Diversity Strengthens Market Presence
This performance reflects Chevrolet's strong presence in the Egyptian market, as the diversity between commercial and passenger models contributed to the brand's monthly results. The Optra continues to strengthen its position in the passenger car market, underscoring the brand's ability to meet customer needs across multiple segments, from commercial vehicles to family cars.
Extension of a Long-Standing Legacy
Chevrolet's lead in total vehicle registrations for June 2026 extends the brand's strong presence in the Egyptian market, building on Mansour Automotive Group's extensive expertise since its founding in 1975 and its role in developing the automotive sector and expanding the brands it represents in Egypt. With a continued strategy of offering models that cater to various segments, Chevrolet appears well-positioned to maintain its competitive momentum in the coming months.
