Official data released by the Egyptian Motor Insurance Pool has revealed that Chevrolet topped the list of most registered vehicles in the Egyptian market during the month of June. The American brand recorded impressive numbers in compulsory insurance transactions, which offer an accurate reflection of actual sales volumes and real market demand across the country.

The June report showed that the number of new vehicles insured under the Chevrolet brand reached 3,259 units, giving it a commanding lead over its closest competitors. These figures underscore the brand's strong presence in the Egyptian market, particularly in the economy car segment where consumers prioritize value for money and affordable pricing.

Top Ten Most Registered Brands in June

In second place, Nissan recorded a total of 2,158 registered vehicles, demonstrating solid performance that reinforces its market position. Chery claimed third place with 1,446 units, confirming the continued growth trajectory of Chinese brands in Egypt. Hyundai secured fourth place with 1,332 vehicles, maintaining its presence among top contenders despite intense competition from both legacy and emerging manufacturers.

Rounding out the top five, Jetour registered 1,198 vehicles, edging past MG which came in sixth with 1,191 units. Seat number seven went to Soueast with 1,129 vehicles, while Toyota took the eighth position with 1,001 registered vehicles, reflecting steady demand for the Japanese brand's lineup.

The remaining two spots in the top ten went to Kia which ranked ninth with 881 vehicles, followed by Mercedes-Benz in tenth place with 861 registered cars. The data highlights the diversity of Egyptian consumer preferences, with budget-friendly and practical brands dominating the upper ranks, while premium names continue to serve a loyal niche audience.
