Nissan Magnite Locally Assembled: Official Price Announcement in Hours
Nissan Egypt is set to officially announce the prices and trim levels of the locally assembled Nissan Magnite tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, during a special launch event. This announcement follows the successful production of the first units at the company's factory in the Sixth of October City, marking a significant milestone in the Japanese brand's local manufacturing strategy.
An Affordable Crossover Awaiting the Egyptian Market
The Nissan Magnite is among the most anticipated vehicles in the Egyptian market today, belonging to the budget-friendly crossover segment that is witnessing intense competition and growing customer demand. Market expectations suggest the car will carry competitive pricing, positioning it as a direct rival to several popular models in this dynamic category, thereby expanding consumer options for practical and modern vehicles at accessible price points.
Local Manufacturing with Over 55% Local Content
The Magnite represents a strategic step within Nissan's expansion plan for local manufacturing in Egypt, featuring a local content ratio exceeding 55%, making it the first Magnite model to be produced on the African continent. This initiative supports the country's strategy to boost reliance on domestic industry and increase export potential, while also reflecting Nissan's commitment to developing its production capabilities in the Egyptian market.
Engine Specifications and Performance
The Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, delivering 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The vehicle measures 3,994 mm in length, 1,758 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm and a ground clearance of 205 mm, making it well-suited for diverse Egyptian road conditions.
Cargo Space and Fuel Efficiency
The vehicle offers 336 liters of rear cargo space, expandable to 690 liters when the rear seats are folded, enhancing its practicality for daily use and travel. It comes with a 40-liter fuel tank and achieves an average fuel consumption of 17.9 km per liter, positioning it as an economical choice amid rising fuel prices.
Technology Features and Safety Systems
The cabin includes a 7-inch infotainment display, electric power steering, ABS anti-lock braking system, and electronic brake-force distribution EBD, along with Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching systems to improve driving habits and reduce fuel consumption.
