Mansco Automotive Launches New Peugeot 408 in Egypt with Unchanged Prices to Boost Customer Trust
Mansco Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Peugeot in Egypt, has officially launched the new generation of the Peugeot 408 in the local market, while maintaining its current price without any increase. This move underscores the company's commitment to delivering exceptional value to its customers and reinforcing their trust in the French brand, especially amid ongoing market fluctuations in the Egyptian automotive sector.
Bold Exterior Design and Modern Cabin
The updated exterior design stands out as one of the key highlights of the new Peugeot 408, featuring a completely redesigned front fascia and updated headlights and taillights that enhance its road presence and give it a more contemporary and sporty appearance. The sleek Fastback silhouette adds a unique dynamic character to the car, while maintaining generous interior space and practicality, making it an ideal choice for families and enthusiasts of modern design alike.
Powerful Performance and Advanced Engine
The new Peugeot 408 is available in Egypt in two trims: the Allure trim priced at EGP 1,899,990 and the GT trim at EGP 2,199,990. The car is powered by a 1.6 THP turbocharged engine that delivers a maximum power output of 215 hp at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 300 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth performance and quick responsiveness across various driving conditions. Drivers can also choose from three driving modes — Normal, Sport, and Eco — to suit different driving styles and preferences.
Cutting-Edge Technology and Seamless Connectivity
On the technology and connectivity front, the new Peugeot 408 features the latest generation of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® driving cockpit, equipped with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and a customizable Virtual i-Toggles touchscreen that allows the driver to create direct shortcuts for various functions, enhancing ease of use and quick access to key vehicle settings. The car also supports wireless smartphone connectivity via Wireless Mirror Screen, with the ability to connect two smartphones simultaneously through Bluetooth. Additional features include a wireless charging pad and four USB Type-C ports, delivering an advanced connectivity experience that meets the needs of both the driver and passengers.
Comprehensive Safety Features
The new Peugeot 408 comes with a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance systems, including six airbags (front, side, and curtain), an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Control (ESP), and Hill Start Assist. The car also features a tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, providing a high level of safety and comfort for city driving and highway cruising alike.
