Cadillac Optiq has arrived in the Egyptian market through Al Mansour Automotive Group in partnership with General Motors, launching this September in a single trim. It's now the cheapest Cadillac in Egypt. The range figure is bold — over 480 kilometres on a single charge.
Cadillac Optiq Performance and Powertrain
The Cadillac Optiq runs on a fully electric setup with two electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system, producing around 300 horsepower and 480 Newton-metres of torque. It's quick off the line. The SUV sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds, a figure that keeps the American luxury brand's sporty character intact in its newest EV.
Cadillac Optiq Dimensions and Interior Space
Cadillac Optiq measures 4820 mm long, 2126 mm wide including mirrors. 1644 mm tall, riding on a 2954 mm wheelbase. That long wheelbase translates into real cabin room. These dimensions slot the Optiq firmly in the luxury SUV segment, with legroom and shoulder space that should satisfy buyers who care about rear-seat comfort as much as front-row tech.
Safety Systems and Cabin Technology
Cadillac Optiq packs a broad suite of safety and driver-assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. Visibility is fully covered. A 360-degree camera system and front and rear parking sensors work alongside advanced stability and traction controls, giving drivers extra confidence in tight manoeuvres and at highway speeds. Inside, a massive panoramic screen stretches across the dashboard, paired with a modern infotainment system that supports smart apps and connected services.
Cadillac's Growing Lineup in Egypt
With the recent addition of the Cadillac Lyriq, the brand now offers four different models in the local market, widening the choice for buyers eyeing Cadillac vehicles in Egypt. The Optiq sits at the entry point of that range. It carries the same premium badge and electric drivetrain as its larger siblings at a lower price of entry. That could pull new customers toward the Cadillac showroom for the first time.
