Cadillac Escalade IQ Electric Arrives in Egypt at EGP 10.95 Million
Cadillac has officially launched its all-new Escalade IQ in Egypt through its exclusive local distributor, Mansour Automotive. The new model is the fully electric version of the iconic luxury SUV, marking a significant shift from the traditional gasoline-powered Escalade. The move aligns with General Motors' global strategy to expand its electric vehicle lineup into key markets.
Platform and Manufacturing Details
The Cadillac Escalade IQ is built on General Motors' advanced Ultium platform, which is dedicated exclusively to electric vehicles. The SUV is assembled at the automaker's Factory Zero facility in Detroit, Michigan. It features a 205 kWh battery pack that provides a total driving range of over 750 kilometers on a full charge, making it one of the longest-range EVs in its luxury segment.
Performance and Powertrain
Under the hood, the Cadillac Escalade IQ relies on an all-electric powertrain delivering 750 horsepower and 1,064 Nm of torque in Velocity Max driving mode. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and comes with an all-wheel-drive system for enhanced traction and stability across various road conditions.
Warranty and After-Sales Benefits
The Escalade IQ is offered in Egypt with a comprehensive warranty package. It includes free scheduled maintenance for 4 years or 100,000 kilometers, a vehicle warranty covering 6 years or 250,000 kilometers, and a separate battery warranty valid for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. Customers can choose between two trims: Premium Luxury and Premium Sport. Pricing starts from EGP 10,950,000.
Exterior and Interior Features
Externally, the SUV rides on 24-inch wheels with power-operated doors featuring a soft-close function. It also benefits from adaptive air suspension and a magnetic ride control system for superior comfort. Inside, the cabin is dominated by a massive 55-inch curved display, complemented by a 38-speaker AKG sound system with Dolby Atmos technology. The interior comfortably seats seven passengers and comes equipped with night vision and a dedicated rear-seat entertainment system, elevating the luxury and technology experience in this all-new electric SUV.
