Chevrolet Spark EUV Arrives in Egypt as the Brand's Most Affordable Electric Car
Al Mansour Automotive launched the Chevrolet Spark EUV in the Egyptian market in Q1 2026, making it the cheapest electric car from the American brand. The vehicle features a 100 hp electric motor and a 42 kWh battery offering up to 360 km of range. It also includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen and safety systems like ABS and ESC. This launch strengthens the presence of budget-friendly electric vehicles in the local market.
Al Mansour Automotive, the exclusive agent for Chevrolet in Egypt, officially introduced the all-new Spark EUV electric vehicle during the first quarter of 2026. The model now stands as the most affordable electric car bearing the American brand's badge in the local market this August.
Motor and Performance of the Chevrolet Spark EV
Power for the new Spark EUV comes from an electric motor producing 100 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels. A 42 kWh battery pack delivers a driving range of up to 360 kilometers on a single charge. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can go from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes, making it a solid choice for daily urban commutes.
Dimensions, Interior, and Smart Features
The Chevrolet Spark EV stretches 4,160 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,560 mm in height, riding on a 2,650 mm wheelbase. Inside, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen pairs with a digital instrument cluster, while a six-speaker sound system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to keep you fully connected on the go.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
Chevrolet packed the Spark EUV with essential safety tech, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill Start Assist. These features aim to reassure drivers in varying traffic conditions and on inclined roads. With a compelling price point and modern equipment, the Spark EUV emerges as a strong contender for buyers seeking their first affordable EV. Its entry reshapes the budget electric segment and could encourage wider EV adoption across Egypt.
