All-New BMW iX3 Arrives in Egypt at EGP 4.9 Million
Global Auto Group, the official distributor of BMW in Egypt, has launched the all-new BMW iX3 for the first time in the Egyptian market. This model marks the debut of the "Neue Klasse" lineup locally, unveiled at a special event held in front of the iconic tower in the New Administrative Capital. The vehicle is offered as the iX3 50 xDrive variant at a price of EGP 4.9 million, featuring an electric driving range of up to 805 kilometers, positioning it as one of the most prominent luxury electric vehicles entering the Egyptian market.
Launch from the New Capital
The selection of the iconic tower in the New Administrative Capital for the launch reflects the futuristic message carried by the new BMW iX3, representing a new chapter in BMW's history and the brand's shift toward a more advanced generation of intelligent electric vehicles. Through this model, BMW revives the "Neue Klasse" name, historically associated with a pivotal transformation in the company's trajectory during the 1960s, now returning as a fully electric Sports Activity Vehicle that blends the German brand's heritage with future-oriented technologies.
Global Award Before Reaching Egypt
The new BMW iX3 arrives in Egypt after winning both the "World Car of the Year 2026" and "World Electric Vehicle 2026" titles at the New York International Auto Show earlier this year. This global recognition underscores the vehicle's achievements, driven by its distinctive design, advanced technologies, and the electric driving experience it offers. These accolades add significant prestige to the model, especially amid growing competition in the global luxury electric vehicle market.
Electric Range of Up to 805 Kilometers
The new BMW iX3 50 xDrive features two electric motors on the front and rear axles, coupled with the advanced xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The powertrain delivers a maximum output of 469 horsepower and torque of 645 Nm, providing robust performance befitting a luxury electric SUV. The vehicle is equipped with a state-of-the-art battery pack with a capacity of 113.4 kWh, enabling an electric driving range of up to 805 kilometers—a figure that ensures it meets the demands of daily commutes and long-distance travel.
Ultra-Fast Charging
The new BMW iX3 supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW, allowing drivers to add up to 372 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes. This technology places the vehicle among the fastest in its segment in terms of charging speed, enhancing its appeal for users seeking practical and rapid charging solutions. With these specifications, BMW delivers a comprehensive experience that combines luxury performance with exceptional range, making the new iX3 a strong addition to Egypt's electric vehicle market.
