Modern Motors, the official distributor of Suzuki in Egypt, has officially launched the new Suzuki Alto in the local market for the first time. Priced at EGP 535,000, the car positions itself as one of the most affordable brand-new vehicles available in Egypt, aimed at budget-conscious buyers seeking a practical and economical city car.

Fuel-Efficient Engine for Urban Driving

The new Suzuki Alto is powered by a 3-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 1,000 cc, producing 67 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, designed to deliver low fuel consumption and efficient performance for daily commutes. The car is offered in a single trim level, equipped with essential features tailored to meet the needs of urban drivers without unnecessary complexity.

Compact Dimensions for Easy Maneuverability

Measuring 3,530 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width, and 1,520 mm in height, the Suzuki Alto features a compact footprint that ensures easy handling in congested city streets and tight parking spaces. Its small size makes it particularly well-suited for navigating Egypt's crowded urban environments, where agility and ease of parking are key considerations for many drivers.

Safety and Comfort Features

For the first time in this economical segment, the Alto comes equipped with six airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), rear parking sensors, an engine immobilizer, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a child safety lock. Additional comfort features include manual air conditioning, front power windows, central locking with remote control, a 12V power outlet, an audio system with two front speakers, halogen headlights, and 13-inch steel wheels. These specifications place the car competitively among entry-level offerings in the market.

Strengthening Competition in the Economy Segment

With a starting price of EGP 535,000, the new Suzuki Alto intensifies competition in the economy car category in Egypt. It combines Suzuki's reputation for reliability and low running costs with a comprehensive safety package uncommon in its price range. This makes it an appealing option for first-time car buyers or anyone looking for an affordable, fuel-efficient vehicle for everyday use in Egypt's busy cities.
