Man East has launched the Soueast S05 2027 in Egypt as the brand's cheapest model, priced at EGP 1,070,000. The crossover features a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 156 hp paired with a 6-speed DCT. Warranty coverage includes 6 years for the vehicle and 10 years for the engine, plus 4 years of free maintenance. The SUV arrives in a single Highline trim within the compact crossover segment.
Man East, the exclusive distributor of Chinese brand Soueast in Egypt, has officially introduced the Soueast S05 2027 model to the local market. The new crossover arrives as the brand's most affordable offering in Egypt, priced at EGP 1,070,000 during August. A single Highline trim is available.
Powertrain and Performance Details
The S05 packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Output stands at 156 horsepower with 230 Nm of peak torque. These figures place it squarely in the compact crossover territory.
Power routes through a 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, a setup that balances everyday responsiveness with sensible fuel consumption for urban commutes.
Dimensions and Family-Oriented Design
Measuring 4406 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, and 1654 mm in height, the S05 rides on a 2615 mm wheelbase. The rear seats fold in a 60:40 split layout, adding flexibility to both cabin space and cargo capacity for family trips.
These dimensions put Soueast in direct competition with other Chinese models that have gained strong traction across Egypt in recent years.
Warranty Package That Stands Out
Here is the headline feature. The vehicle comes with a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. Engine coverage extends to 10 years or 1,000,000 km. Complimentary maintenance spans 4 years or 60,000 km.
That package signals serious confidence in build quality. It also gives Egyptian buyers rare peace of mind in the Soueast cars lineup, which has primarily targeted value-conscious customers.
Market Positioning Within Egypt
The EGP 1.07 million price tag makes the Soueast S05 the cheapest model the brand currently sells in Egypt. The single Highline trim limits trim-level choices, yet it simplifies the purchase decision considerably.
Egypt's compact crossover segment remains fiercely contested by established players such as Chevrolet and Hyundai Tucson. The aggressive warranty bundle and competitive pricing could give the newcomer a clear edge in this crowded arena.
