National Authority for Road Advertising Regulation to Launch Digital Platform for Licenses
The National Authority for Road Advertising Regulation has announced its readiness to launch an integrated digital platform in the coming period, aimed at simplifying procedures and accelerating service delivery. The authority outlined the mechanisms for obtaining advertising licenses on public roads, confirming that license applications can be submitted in paper form to the relevant authorities, while the service will also be available electronically through some administrative bodies.
Application Submission Mechanisms
Engineer Eman Nabil, CEO of the National Authority for Road Advertising Regulation, confirmed that an advertiser or their legal representative can submit a request for a license to advertise on public roads. She explained that applications are registered with the competent authority according to their date of receipt, with the applicant receiving an official receipt confirming the receipt of required documents. She emphasized the necessity of completing all basic data when applying for a license, including advertiser details and official notification method, as well as advertising specifics such as type, area, location, duration, and necessary contact information to complete the procedures.
Technical System to Ensure Compliance
Engineer Eman Nabil added that the authority implements an integrated technical system to ensure advertising complies with regulations and standards. This system begins with reviewing submitted documents and engineering drawings, followed by field inspections of advertising sites to verify compliance with traffic safety requirements and urban preservation standards. The CEO confirmed that this system also relies on coordination with relevant authorities according to the nature and location of the advertisement, ensuring a balance between advertising activities and maintaining the urban appearance of public roads and user safety.
Follow Official Announcements
The National Authority for Road Advertising Regulation has called on citizens and companies to follow the latest decisions, activities, and official statements issued through its official page on the social networking site Facebook, where all matters related to the road advertising regulation system are published. This step is part of the authority's efforts to enhance transparency, facilitate access to information, and improve the user experience in obtaining licenses more quickly and efficiently.
