Renew Your Driver's License from Home: A Complete Guide to Requirements and Documents
Many citizens are looking for the correct way to renew their driver's license easily, whether it is a private or professional license, under the controls and procedures set by traffic departments nationwide to regulate the licensing process and ensure the highest safety standards on the roads.
These procedures are part of an integrated system aimed at ensuring drivers are physically and legally ready before being allowed to drive, helping to reduce accidents and improve the efficiency of road users in Egypt.
Renew Your Driver's License Electronically from Home
As part of the digital transformation in government services, the Ministry of Interior has made it possible to renew a driver's license electronically without visiting traffic units, through the "Morour Masr" portal or the "Egypt Digital" platform, with the option to receive the license at your residence.
The renewal steps begin by logging into the official website, signing in using the national ID number or creating a new account, selecting the "Renew Driver's License" service, then entering the required data and paying fees and fines electronically.
Conditions for Online License Renewal
To complete the electronic renewal process, the license must be valid or expired (for private licenses or motorcycle licenses), the national ID card must be valid, there must be no traffic violations blocking the process, and the license must not require a technical inspection at the traffic unit.
Required Documents for Electronic Renewal
Applicants must prepare digital copies of the national ID card (front and back), the expired license, a certified medical examination certificate for vision and internal medicine, recent passport-sized photos with a white background, and a renewal application form if requested through the platform.
