The MG brand has topped the list of the most registered Chinese cars in the Egyptian market during the first five months of this year, recording 8,816 vehicles across various traffic departments. This strong performance reflects the continued growth of the British-origin brand in the local market, supported by its diverse lineup that caters to a wide range of consumer needs.

Chery and Jetour in Second and Third Place

According to the report issued by the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Pool, Chery ranked second with 7,504 registered vehicles, achieving notable market penetration thanks to models like the Tiggo 8 Pro, which saw strong demand. Jetour came in third with a total of 6,262 cars, driven by its competitive SUV lineup that appeals to family buyers.

Remaining Rankings Among Chinese Brands

Soueast secured fourth place with approximately 4,220 vehicles, while Changan took fifth with 2,904 cars. BAIC followed in sixth place with 2,844 units, and Geely ranked seventh with 2,305 registrations. These figures highlight the growing trust Egyptian consumers place in Chinese cars, which now offer a compelling mix of modern features and advanced technology at competitive prices.

BYD ranked eighth with 2,002 cars, followed by GAC in ninth place with 1,240 vehicles, and JAC with 912 units. In the lower positions, Haval ranked 11th with 886 cars, while Kaiyi took 12th place with 825 units, and Forthing rounded out the list with 802 registrations.
