Peugeot is celebrating 60 years of presence in the Egyptian market, a milestone that reflects decades of sustained local commitment. Six Decades of Technological Evolution
Peugeot's journey in Egypt began six decades ago. The brand has witnessed successive transformations in design, technology and driving experience since then. Globally, the company's roots stretch back to 1810, before it entered the automotive sector and revealed its first branded vehicle in 1889. That long industrial heritage gives Peugeot a clear competitive edge across multiple markets worldwide, including Egypt. That remains a strategic market for the French brand.
Medhat Awad, Managing Director of Mansco Automotive, said that 60 years of Peugeot in Egypt represents an important milestone in the brand's history, stressing continued efforts to improve the customer experience. He added that the company focuses on developing an integrated ecosystem covering sales and after-sales services, alongside delivering new models and technologies. Mansco Automotive was established in late 2017 as a partnership between Mansour Automotive and Scope Investment.
