Official Visit to Boysen Egypt Plant Highlights Local Automotive Exhaust System Manufacturing
Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly visited the Boysen Egypt plant, a facility specialized in automotive exhaust treatment systems. During the visit, Madbouly emphasized the government's strong commitment to the automotive industry, its components, and supporting supplier sectors, highlighting ongoing efforts to localize vehicle manufacturing and build a major industrial base capable of attracting leading global companies.
The Prime Minister also underscored the growing focus on electric vehicles as part of Egypt’s strategy to expand the use of clean energy sources and reduce reliance on conventional fuels, supporting long-term industrial and environmental goals.
Government Support for Automotive Localization
The Minister of Industry stated that the government is prepared to offer exceptional incentives to any global automaker that chooses to localize its manufacturing operations in Egypt. He noted that Boysen Egypt is among the specialized automotive component manufacturers, particularly in exhaust systems and emission treatment technologies, providing quality products that support local production and reduce dependence on imported components.
According to the minister, the plant also plays an important role in strengthening Egypt’s automotive supplier industry and expanding domestic manufacturing capabilities.

He revealed that the company currently maintains 10 valuable partnerships with global brands and is working to establish additional successful collaborations in the future.
