Kaiyi International Chairman Inspects X3 Pro Local Production Preparations in Egypt
In a move highlighting the brand's commitment to expanding its footprint in the Egyptian market, Kaiyi Egypt welcomed a high-level delegation over the past three days. The visit was led by Han Ren, General Manager of Kaiyi China and Chairman of the Board of Kaiyi International. The official trip aimed to closely monitor the progress of the local manufacturing project, one of the company's key priorities to strengthen its regional presence.
Factory Tour and Local Parts Evaluation
The inspection tour included a detailed visit to the assembly plant, where the Chinese delegation observed the workflow and production stages firsthand. Comprehensive evaluations were conducted on locally manufactured components, including seats, pedals, glass, and several other parts used in the production process. Sources confirmed that these tests are designed to ensure the locally made components meet global quality standards and perform on par with their counterparts manufactured in China.
Praise for Egyptian Manufacturing Quality
Han Ren praised the quality level achieved by Egypt's local industry, emphasizing that locally produced components are comparable to those made in China in terms of quality and efficiency. He noted that this development reflects the significant progress Egypt's industrial sector has made and its ability to adhere to international standards. This confidence reinforces the company's belief in the local market's capability to support future manufacturing expansion plans.
Official Launch Timeline
Kaiyi Egypt confirmed that work is progressing according to the established schedule without any delays, paving the way for the official launch of the locally assembled Kaiyi X3 Pro in the Egyptian market. The official unveiling is scheduled for this coming December, a step aimed at boosting local manufacturing and expanding the brand's market share in Egypt's competitive compact SUV segment.
The Kaiyi X3 Pro belongs to the modern SUV category and targets a wide range of customers seeking quality and technology at competitive prices. Local assembly is expected to lower the vehicle's final cost, enhancing its ability to compete in the Egyptian market, especially amid current economic challenges.
