Jameel Motors Celebrates 20 Years of Success in Egypt, Strengthens Partnership with GAC
Jameel Motors is celebrating 20 years of operations in the Egyptian market, marking two decades of trust, growth, and successful partnerships with some of the world's most prominent automotive brands. The journey began with the Japanese brand Daihatsu and has now expanded to include GAC three years ago, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier mobility solutions in Egypt.
A Global Legacy Spanning Over 80 Years
This local milestone is part of a broader global vision, as Jameel Motors stands as an international leader in mobility solutions and a preferred partner for numerous premium automotive brands. The company's foundation is built on a legacy exceeding 80 years of excellence in the automotive sector, with international operations spanning more than 10 countries including the United Kingdom, UAE, Turkey, Egypt, China, Poland, and Italy.
Jameel Motors represents an elite selection of the world's leading brands in both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, including Toyota, Lexus, BYD, and Geely Auto. This diverse portfolio highlights the strength of the company's institutional framework, its strategic expertise, and its ability to build sustainable partnerships across different markets worldwide.
Strategic Partnership with GAC in Egypt and Global Markets
Jameel Motors is reinforcing its global partnership with the leading Chinese brand GAC through official representation in key international markets, including the United Kingdom and Poland in addition to Egypt. This collaboration underscores the mutual trust between both parties and Jameel Motors' proven capability to manage major automotive brands across diverse markets.
Karim Abouelfadl, Regional Managing Director of Jameel Motors Egypt, commented: "Twenty years in Egypt is not just a milestone in Jameel Motors' history, but a natural extension of our international journey, deep expertise, extensive operational network, and solid global partnerships with some of the most important brands worldwide. Since our launch in the Egyptian market, we built our presence step by step, relying on a great legacy and multi-market international operations."
Abouelfadl added: "Today, our results confirm that this presence is built on a strong and integrated system, not just traditional expansion. Jameel Motors Egypt receiving the gold award for best distributor, leading GAC sales across Africa, and achieving 142% growth in the first half of 2026 are all clear indicators of our strong performance, customer trust, efficient system with our partners, and ability to compete in a highly dynamic market." He also noted that the company is preparing to execute a showroom expansion plan as part of its future strategy.
