Skoda and Volkswagen Close Behind
The gap at the top is tight. Skoda finished second with 6,227 units — just 401 cars behind the leader. Volkswagen took third place with 5,560 vehicles, while Renault came fourth with 5,023 cars. These numbers reveal a fierce battle in the mid-range European segment.
Peugeot, Cupra and Citroen Fill the Middle Ground
Peugeot registered 4,084 vehicles in fifth place. Cupra followed in sixth with 3,324 cars — a brand clearly gaining momentum in the Egyptian market. Citroen secured seventh with 2,891 units. Peugeot maintains its traditional presence while Cupra continues to build its base.
BMW, Fiat, Seat, Opel and Audi Round Out the Top Tier
BMW registered 2,335 vehicles in eighth place despite competing in the luxury segment. Fiat came ninth with 2,478 cars, followed by Seat in tenth with 2,279 units. Opel ranked eleventh with 2,180 vehicles, and Audi twelfth with 1,441 cars. BMW clearly outsold Audi by a comfortable margin.
Volvo Trails with Just 580 Units
Volvo registered only 580 vehicles in thirteenth place. That is a relatively weak figure compared to its rivals. Volvo focuses on the premium safety segment, but its high prices limit its reach. The full list reveals a clear German dominance over Egypt's European car market.
